Production Manager Job Description

**About the Role**

Vickerstock is seeking an experienced Production Manager to join our team at our Armagh facility. As a key member of our Senior Leadership Team, you will play a crucial role in shaping the future of our business and driving Operational Excellence.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Creation, implementation, and delivery of the production plan, maximizing yield and minimizing downtime and waste, according to set targets.
  • Ensure all production staff are operating at full optimization and production processes are running efficiently across the business.
  • Maintain Quality Management systems and standards, and recommend improvements to production processes to include efficiency, quality, and safety.

**Requirements**

  • Proven experience within a manufacturing environment at a similar level, with a high-level understanding of operating integrity, quality systems, and compliance.
  • Strong communication, organizational, planning, and time management skills, with flexibility to work night and weekend shifts.
  • Understanding of MRP systems, experience in Lean initiatives, and NEBOSH certificate are distinct advantages.
