Inspiring Learning Support Specialist

We are working in partnership with a Primary School in the Droylsden area of Tameside, seeking an experienced and qualified Learning Support Specialist to join their team on a full-time basis.
The ideal candidate will have a good working knowledge of the Early Years Framework and supporting pupil development across the different stages. You will be familiar with continuous provision and providing creative learning experiences for children.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supporting EYFS classes in a full-time capacity
- Supplementing the current Early Years team to provide support across the class
- Assisting pupils with SEND as needed
Requirements:
- Level 3 Qualified Teaching Assistant
- Experience (paid or on placement) of supporting children
- Availability to undertake a full-time role in term time
- Enhanced child workforce DBS or willingness to apply for one if needed
Salary: £28,000 - £32,000 per annum, dependent on experience. This is a temporary role where you work with the school on an ongoing basis, with potential opportunities to apply for permanent roles within the school in the future.
The school is a welcoming community with a supportive culture, offering staff development opportunities and a diverse catchment area. The role involves working Monday to Friday, 08:30 to 15:30, during term time only.
