Nursery Manager Opportunity

KiddyKare is collaborating with a nursery to recruit an experienced nursery manager for a setting in Henley. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safety and wellbeing of all children, preventing accidents and promoting a sense of security and satisfaction among parents.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Directly manage the nursery and its staff, aiming for full enrollment and a planned waiting list.
  2. Effectively contribute to the management team, promoting the setting and maintaining high communication levels across all personnel.
  3. Recruit, manage, and train all nursery staff to foster good morale, maintain a high reputation, and ensure all regulatory standards are met.
  4. Monitor nursery standards to ensure compliance and positive reports from regulatory inspections.
  5. Closely monitor all personnel to ensure a high awareness of company policies and procedures.
  6. Contribute to the continuous improvement of the nurseries through participation in monthly management meetings and other forums.
  7. Actively manage and report on current nursery occupancy and six-month future forecasting.
  8. Hold regular room and staff meetings to ensure the smooth running of the nursery.
  9. Maintain good communication with senior management regarding everyday occurrences within the establishment.
  10. Report all maintenance requirements to the operations manager for immediate attention.
Requirements
  1. Previous managerial experience
  2. Full and relevant childcare qualification (Level 3 minimum)
  3. Strong understanding of EYFS and Ofsted regulations
  4. Ability to lead and support a team in delivering outstanding childcare
  5. Minimum of 5 years' experience within nurseries
