Nursery Manager Opportunity

KiddyKare Ltd is collaborating with a Nursery in Henley to recruit an experienced Nursery Manager for a setting in the area. This position offers a competitive salary of up to £40,000 per annum, accompanied by numerous benefits.

Requirements for the Role:
  • Previous managerial experience in childcare
  • Full and relevant childcare qualification (Level 3 minimum)
  • Strong understanding of EYFS and Ofsted regulations
  • Ability to lead and support a team in delivering outstanding childcare
  • Minimum of 5 years experience within nurseries

Key Responsibilities:

Ensure the safety and wellbeing of all children, preventing accidents and promoting a sense of security and satisfaction among parents.

Directly manage the nursery and its staff, aiming for full enrollment and a planned waiting list.

Effectively contribute to the management team, promoting the setting and maintaining high communication levels across all personnel.

Recruit, manage, and train all nursery staff to foster good morale, maintain a high reputation, and ensure all regulatory standards are met.

Monitor nursery standards to ensure compliance and positive reports from regulatory inspections.

Act as the primary contact for parents, ensuring their full satisfaction through appropriate information and feedback.

Contribute to the continuous improvement of the nurseries through participation in monthly management meetings and other forums.

Actively manage and report on current nursery occupancy and six-month future forecasting.

Hold regular room and staff meetings to ensure the smooth running of the nursery.

Maintain good communication with senior management regarding everyday occurrences within the establishment.

Ensure all staff follow company procedures for daily communications with parents.

Keep parents informed of events, changes, and programs through monthly or quarterly newsletters.

Report all maintenance requirements to the operations manager for immediate attention.
