About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Pediatric Nurse to join our team at Hampshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our paediatric team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality care to our young patients and their families.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional patient care, ensuring the highest standards of safety and quality.
  • Work closely with our paediatric consultants and senior team to support the smooth running of our clinics.
  • Develop and maintain systems to ensure effective communication and collaboration with colleagues.
  • Contribute to the development of our paediatric services, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes to enhance patient care.
  • Participate in audits and quality improvement initiatives to ensure we are meeting the highest standards of care.
  • Teach and train staff and student nurses to ensure the continued development of our team.
  • Maintain relationships with our G floor staff to ensure continuity of care for our patients.
Person Specification

We are looking for a candidate with:

  • A degree-level education or equivalent knowledge and skills gained through alternative study or employment experience.
  • Evidence of Continued Professional Development (CPD) clearly recorded for their professional profile.
  • The ability to demonstrate the required behaviour in keeping with the Trust values.
