About the Role:

The SEN Teaching Assistant will play a vital role in supporting students with additional needs, including autism, ADHD, OCD, and Dyslexia. This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals who are passionate about education and psychology to gain valuable experience and make a positive impact on students' lives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist students with additional needs in a 1-1 setting, providing emotional and academic support
  • Guide students in lessons, helping them to understand and engage with lesson material
  • Encourage independence and self-regulation in students, promoting their overall well-being
  • Implement different therapeutic techniques to support students' mental health and wellbeing
  • Participate in meetings with occupational and clinical therapists and psychologists to improve students' quality of education
