Citizenship and Rule of Law Expert

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to lead our innovative programme of engagement with young people and the general public on the rule of law. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to build understanding of the rule of law among citizens, particularly young people.
The ideal candidate will have experience working with young people or disadvantaged communities, teaching, campaign work or legal practice, and managing projects that involve liaison with multiple partners and civil society stakeholders. A degree in law, politics or a related field is required, along with sufficient knowledge of current affairs and the UK legal system to produce briefing papers for both students and teachers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategies to engage with young people and the general public on the rule of law.
- Maintain, develop and deepen relationships with stakeholders in the citizenship and public legal education fields.
- Plan and initiate new projects, and contribute to the development of projects by other colleagues.
Benefits include a competitive salary of £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits such as flexible working hours and access to training and development opportunities.
