About the Role

As the Project Health Safety & Environment Manager, you will be the on-site authority for health and safety during the construction and installation of the project. You will work closely with site personnel, coaching and advising them on the implementation of the client's Integrated Management System (IMS).

You will lead environmental, health, and safety programs, ensuring every aspect of the project complies with industry guidelines and regulations.

Your Responsibilities
  1. Develop and implement health and safety policies and procedures.
  2. Conduct regular site inspections and audits to ensure compliance with safety standards.
  3. Lead safety meetings and training sessions for site personnel.
  4. Collaborate with subcontractors to ensure they meet strict safety standards.
  5. Review and provide follow-up support on safety performance.
Requirements

You will need:

  • At least 5 years of experience in safety management, particularly within the electricity transmission and distribution industry.
  • A NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent.
  • An Internal Audit qualification (ISO 45001).
  • Chartered or Certified Membership of IOSH.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
