Care Team Leader: An Opportunity for Growth and Development

Care UK is seeking a skilled Care Team Leader to join our team in Croydon, Greater London. This role offers a chance to develop your leadership skills, working closely with our leadership team to drive excellence in care delivery.

Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and lead your shift, promoting a positive work environment and high standards of care.
  • Case manage residents, collaborating with families, healthcare professionals, and other stakeholders to create personalized care plans.
  • Administer medication, maintaining accurate records and adhering to protocols.
  • Conduct regular risk assessments, identifying areas for improvement and implementing strategies to enhance resident safety.
  • Support care assistants in providing daily care, promoting independence and dignity.

Requirements:

  • NVQ Level 3 in health and social care or equivalent experience.
  • Strong organizational and IT skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage your time effectively.
  • Proven leadership abilities, with experience in supervising and motivating teams.
  • A good understanding of care planning processes and procedures.
  • Experience in administering medication or willingness to undergo training.

Salary: £26,000 - £31,000 per annum, depending on experience.
