Medical Advisor – Oncology Expert
Salary:£65,000 - £85,000 per annum.
Job Description:We are seeking a highly experienced Final Signatory Pharmacist or Physician to join our Oncology team as a Medical Advisor. The successful candidate will lead medical affairs activities in Oncology, with responsibility for a new pipeline treatment. This gives the candidate the opportunity to drive pre-launch activities in the UK and work closely with Market Access teams.
This is a key role in the Oncology team, requiring an individual with experience as a Medical Advisor, MSL or from a Medical Review background. Key responsibilities include:
- Developing and delivering the medical plan and tactics
- Providing medical input into and support with ongoing Market Access activities
- Providing scientific and medical expertise to colleagues in Medical Affairs, Marketing and Commercial groups
- Working closely with the MSL team on field medical activities
- Being an integral part of the cross-functional brand team
- Guiding the development of integrated data generation projects
- Acting as an internal disease area expert in Oncology
- Establishing and maintaining relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs)
- Reviewing and approving materials in line with the ABPI Code of Practice
- Being involved in congress and symposia
To be considered for this position, candidates must possess:
- A Medical or Pharmacy degree with appropriate UK registration
- UK Medical Advisor experience is preferred, but not essential
- Candidates with experience as an MSL or Medical Reviewer with Final Signatory status will also be considered
- Final Signatory status
- Any therapy area background will be considered
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
