You can leverage your nursing, occupational therapy, physiotherapy, or paramedic skills to make a difference in the lives of individuals with disabilities.

As a Healthcare Specialist, you will conduct unbiased and comprehensive assessments for claimants of the Government's disability allowance (Personal Independence Payment). Your role will involve conducting initial reviews, paper-based, face-to-face, video, or telephone assessments to evaluate how a claimant's health condition or disability affects their day-to-day life.

Your salary will be around £38,500 per annum (pro rata for part-time), plus a 5% retention bonus. After achieving remote approved status, your salary will increase to £39,900 plus up to 10% bonus. Upon achieving face-to-face delivery status, your salary will increase to £41,500 plus up to 10% bonus.

To excel in this role, you should possess excellent observational and communication skills, giving you the ability to listen, empathise, and dig deeper. You must also have experience using IT and Microsoft Office, as well as remotely accessing systems such as MS Teams.
