Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Electrical Design Specialist to join our team at Morson Talent. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing and developing electrical systems and components for various engineering projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop electrical systems and components using computer-aided design (CAD) software and other relevant tools.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineers and technicians, to develop electrical designs that meet project requirements.
  • Select and specify materials, equipment, and components for electrical systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.
  • Perform calculations and simulations to ensure the efficiency and reliability of electrical designs.
  • Conduct feasibility studies and cost analysis for electrical design proposals.
  • Prepare technical documentation, including specifications, reports, and manuals.
  • Review and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and regulations.
Requirements
  • A minimum of 5 years of proven experience as an Electrical Designer or a similar role.
  • Proficiency in computer-aided design (CAD) software and other relevant electrical design tools.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical engineering principles and practices.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in design work.
  • Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Good time management and organizational skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Professional certifications in electrical design or engineering.
  • Experience with defence-specific electrical design projects.
  • A degree or equivalent engineering experience.
