Senior Designer Electrical Job Opportunity

Are you a skilled electrical design professional looking for a challenging role in a dynamic organisation? We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Designer Electrical to join our team in Barrow in Furness.

The Role

As a Senior Designer Electrical, you will be responsible for designing and developing electrical systems, resolving design issues, and coaching and mentoring other design engineers. You will work on complex projects, achieve a work-life balance, and have the opportunity to work on long-term contracts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Apply proven techniques and procedures to design and develop electrical systems.
  • Resolve design issues and problems for a range of design situations.
  • Diagnose and resolve operational, repair, installation, and commissioning problems and issues.
  • Coach and mentor other design engineers, applying interpersonal skills in communicating technical design matters.
  • Work with a degree of technical autonomy, demonstrating a commitment to professional design engineering principles and values.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will have experience in a similar position and possess the following skills:

  • Understanding of design principles and approaches relevant to electrical design activities.
  • Depth of understanding, knowledge, and experience relevant to a specialist area of activity, for example, relevant to a department, unit, system, platform, etc.
