Supervising Social Worker Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Supervising Social Worker to join our team in the North West of England. As a Supervising Social Worker, you will be responsible for providing guidance and support to foster carers, ensuring the well-being and safety of children in their care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide regular supervision and support to foster carers
  • Conduct assessments and reviews to ensure the best interests of children
  • Develop and implement care plans to meet the needs of children
  • Collaborate with other professionals to ensure a cohesive approach to child care

About the Role:

This is a home-based role, requiring occasional travel to meet with foster carers and other professionals. You will be working with a well-established Independent Fostering Agency with a Good Ofsted rating and a strong reputation.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Social Worker with a Social Work Degree
  • Experience in working with foster care or Looked After Children Teams
  • Driving license and ability to travel
