Financial Operations Manager

Job Summary:
The Account Control Officer will be responsible for overseeing all day-to-day operations in the finance department, ensuring the smooth execution of supply chain activities and managing production planning. This role will also involve highlighting financial risks and opportunities to the plant manager, as well as providing weekly updates to the business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Month-end closing activities, including account reconciliation, journal entry preparation, and management reporting.
- Year-end closing reporting, including management reporting, audit compliance, and performance analysis.
- Analyzing and reporting sales performance and site productivity.
- Pricing, working with the central commercial team to overcome and foresee potential pricing issues.
- Leading and overseeing all capital investment projects relevant to the site.
- Leading the supply chain network from end-to-end, from inbound materials to meeting customer delivery expectations.
Requirements:
- Relevant Finance/Accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) or qualified by experience.
- Experience in working with staff at all levels and working in a team-based office environment.
- Skilled in Microsoft Excel.
- Proficient in SAP would be preferable.
