About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Support Assistant to join our team at Home Care Direct. As a Support Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing personalized care and support to our clients with complex needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality care and support to clients with learning disabilities and autism
  • Assist with daily living tasks, including personal care, meal preparation, and household chores
  • Support clients with mobility issues, including loading and unloading their scooter
  • Ensure clients' living spaces are clean, tidy, and safe
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and their families
Requirements
  • Experience working with individuals with learning disabilities and autism
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays
  • Enhanced DBS disclosure required
