About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team at HomeCareDirect. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our clients, enabling them to live independently in their own homes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide personal care and support to clients with autism and special needs, including assistance with daily living tasks, meal preparation, and household chores.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, their families, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and support.
  • Work collaboratively with our team to provide a person-centered approach to care, tailoring support to meet the unique needs and preferences of each client.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance your skills and knowledge in supporting individuals with autism and special needs.
  • Contribute to the maintenance of a safe and healthy environment for clients, adhering to all relevant health and safety protocols.
Requirements
  • Experience working with individuals with autism and special needs, preferably in a care or support setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and their families.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible approach to meet the changing needs of clients.
  • Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and adhering to all relevant policies and procedures.
  • Enhanced DBS disclosure and ability to work in a rural setting.
