Mechanical Technical Support Opportunity

The National Nuclear Laboratory is recruiting a skilled Mechanical Technical Support professional to join our team in providing engineering support to the Infrastructure Compliance Engineering team. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, contributing to the delivery of expert services in plant, system, and equipment reliability.

As a Mechanical Technical Support professional, you will be responsible for implementing and maintaining the technical basis of maintenance (TBoM) process, assisting with planning complex maintenance activities, and ensuring compliance with legislative, regulatory, and company procedures and standards. You will also support the Mechanical Team Leader in installation, modifications, and commissioning of installed equipment.

We offer a competitive salary range of £65,000 - £85,000 per annum, depending on experience, along with a comprehensive benefits package including 25.5 days of annual leave, Bank Holidays, and a generous pension plan. **Key Responsibilities:**
• Implement and maintain the TBoM process
• Assist with planning complex maintenance activities
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
• Support the Mechanical Team Leader in equipment installation and commissioning

**Requirements:**
• Degree Qualified (Mechanical) or HND in an equivalent discipline
• Strong technical skills and experience in maintenance activities, planning, and project management
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• Ability to obtain DV level security clearance
