Occupational Therapy Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to join our client’s Mental Health Reablement Team in Hull. This is a 3 month contract, with potential for extension.
This role involves providing interventions for adults with mental health issues in the community or upon discharge from psychiatric hospital. You will use appropriate assessment and intervention tools to support best practice and capture the physical, mental health, and social care needs of service users and carers.
Your responsibilities will include delivering Reablement interventions, working creatively to prevent and/or reduce needs resulting from mental ill health, and providing support to other team members through specialist OT assessment. You may also prescribe equipment when appropriate.
We require a Qualified Approved Mental Health Professional (AMHP) / Approved Mental Capacity Professional (AMCP) or Best Interest Assessor (BIA) or willingness to train. Salary: £40,000 - £50,000 per annum.
