Senior Systems Safety Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Senior Systems Safety Specialist to join our team at CBSbutler. As a key member of our engineering team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and integrity of our complex systems.
About the Role- This is a 12-month contract position with opportunities for extension or permanent employment.
- You will be based in Edinburgh or Newcastle, working on-site 3 days per week.
- The salary for this position is £60-£70 per hour, paid as a daily rate.
As a Senior Systems Safety Specialist, you will conduct thorough safety assessments and support projects on all safety-related issues. You will work closely with project leadership and other engineers across various disciplines to ensure the delivery of safe and reliable systems.
- You will use your expertise in safety analysis to identify hazards and investigate them using functional failure analyses and other techniques.
- You will develop and implement safety requirements to meet customer and regulatory safety targets.
- You will work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to solve complex problems and promote a positive safety culture.
