Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Safety-Critical Systems Specialist to join our team at Leonardo UK Ltd. As a key member of our engineering department, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety and reliability of our systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate and mitigate risks associated with complex systems and ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement safety-critical systems solutions.
  • Develop and maintain documentation for safety-related processes and procedures.
  • Analyze data to identify trends and areas for improvement in safety-critical systems performance.
  • Promote a culture of safety within the organization by identifying and addressing potential hazards and contributing to the development of safety training programs.

Requirements:

  • MSc or PhD in a relevant field such as Engineering, Physics, or Computer Science.
  • Proven experience in safety-critical systems design, development, and testing.
  • Excellent understanding of industry-standard safety methodologies and tools.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to interact with stakeholders at all levels.
