Job Title: Sales Estimator

We are seeking an experienced Sales Estimator to join our team at Bamford Contract Services Ltd. As a Sales Estimator, you will be responsible for estimating architectural metal work components and assemblies, materials, and processes for our fast-paced manufacturing company.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Estimating architectural metal work
  • Obtaining supplier quotations
  • Managing and maintaining relations with existing customers
  • Identifying new business opportunities and developing relationships with potential customers
  • Following up estimates, negotiating, and securing orders
  • Liaising with production regarding lead times and delivery schedules
Requirements:
  • Previous manufacturing estimation/costing experience essential
  • Excellent communication skills at all levels
  • Excellent numeracy and literacy skills
  • Computer literate, Microsoft Office etc.
  • Attention to detail a must
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • Ability to understand and interpret technical drawings
