We are seeking a skilled Sales Estimator to join our team at WJF Technical Support Limited. As a Sales Estimator, you will be responsible for estimating architectural metal work components and assemblies, materials, and processes, including turret punching, routing, Press Brake Forming, Welding, and Assembly. You will also be expected to obtain costs from sub-contract suppliers for finishing operations and liaise with customers regarding pricing, lead times, and delivery schedules.

Main Responsibilities:

• Estimate architectural metal work components and assemblies
• Obtain supplier quotations for finishing operations
• Manage and maintain relationships with existing customers
• Identify new business opportunities and develop relationships with potential customers
• Follow up on estimates, negotiate, and secure orders
• Liaise with production to ensure lead times and delivery schedules are met

Requirements:

• Previous manufacturing estimation/costing experience essential (Sheetmetal/Fabrication)
• Excellent communication skills at all levels
• Excellent numeracy and literacy skills
• Computer literate, Microsoft Office, etc.
• Attention to detail a must
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
• Ability to understand and interpret technical drawings
• Minimum of five years' experience developing new business for construction-related firms, additional years of experience may substitute for a bachelor's degree

Job Details:

Salary: £37,000.00-£43,000.00 per year

Monday to Friday, 08:00 – 16:30

• Estimating: 2 years minimum (preferred)
