We are recruiting for an experienced Audit and Accounts Senior to assist the Partners and Manager in delivery of statutory audit and accounts preparation services in Swindon.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in auditing and accounts preparation, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality results under tight deadlines. They will also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients and colleagues.

We estimate the salary for this role to be around £50,000 - £65,000 per annum, depending on experience. In addition to a competitive salary, you can expect a range of benefits including 22 days holiday plus bank holidays, access to a flexible benefits scheme, and opportunities for continuous training and development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Management and delivery of audit/accounts assignments for Charity and Not-For-Profit sector, Limited Companies (including groups), Sole Traders and Partnerships.
  • Preparing draft corporation tax and business tax computations including supporting analysis.
  • Planning audit assignments, including budgeting and use of analytical review.
  • Taking the lead and assisting on audit assignments.
  • Supervising, delegating and reviewing audit work of juniors.
  • Delivering information and communicating with clients in a timely and effective manner.

Requirements:

  • ACA/ACCA qualified/part-qualified with at least 3 years of practice experience.
  • Experience in the charity and Not-for-Profit sector or a desire to learn and become involved in this sector.
