We are seeking a highly skilled Safety Engineer Leader to join our team at Kent PLC. This is an exciting opportunity for experienced professionals to lead/support projects, develop junior engineers, and drive technical expertise in major hazard industries.

The ideal candidate will have a degree qualification in a relevant engineering subject and experience working in Process/Technical Safety, preferably in the Energy industry. Strong understanding of QRA and other safety techniques, including consequence analysis, is required.

This role involves conducting safety scopes for major hazard industries, leading junior engineers on projects, and developing and maintaining technical expertise. The salary for this position is estimated to be £80,000 - £110,000 per annum, depending on experience.

About the Role:

  • Conducting safety scopes for major hazard industries, including consequence analysis, QRA, and Formal Safety Assessments
  • Leading junior engineers on projects and providing technical guidance and mentoring support
  • Project engineering to ensure studies and projects are delivered in compliance with agreed scope, budgets, and schedules
  • Developing and maintaining technical expertise and leading the development of junior engineers
