Job Title: Clinical Lead Nurse

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dedicated Clinical Lead Nurse to join our team at a leading care home service in Dunbar, East Lothian. As a key member of our nursing team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality care to our residents while promoting independence and dignity.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead a team of nursing staff to ensure the delivery of excellent care standards
  • Promote independence and dignity while enhancing the lives of individuals in our care
  • Support the delivery of improvements and drive quality standards to enhance efficiencies in line with CQC guidelines
  • Ensure a welcoming, safe, and engaging environment for all residents, employees, and visitors
  • Support the Home Manager and take responsibility for the day-to-day management of the Home
Requirements:
  • Experience of managing a team, ensuring all staff are supervised appropriately and rotas are in place
  • Experienced in quality and clinical governance programs, including audit and care services
  • Experienced in producing well-developed care plans and detailed risk assessments, with an understanding of regulatory frameworks
  • Able to maintain accurate documentation and resident records while incorporating modern technology
  • Confident in overseeing all aspects of medicine management on your shift in accordance with company policies and current legislation
  • Able to support, guide, teach, and mentor others in line with the NMC Code
