We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Advanced Pharmacist to join our team at The Shrewsbury and Telford Hospital NHS Trust. As a key member of our Pharmacy Department, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of our clinical pharmacy services.
About the Role:This is an exciting opportunity for a clinical pharmacist to work collaboratively with Shropshire Community Health Trust in the rehabilitation and recovery setting. You will be responsible for delivering a high level of clinical pharmacy input, working as an independent prescriber, and leading the development of Clinical Pharmacy standards across the Trust.
Key Responsibilities:- Work collaboratively with Shropshire Community Health Trust to support patients within the rehabilitation and recovery setting.
- Deliver high-quality clinical pharmacy input, including daily ward visits, participation in consultant ward rounds, and teaching of medical, nursing, and less experienced pharmacy staff.
- Work as an independent prescriber to optimise medicine regimes for patients within the rehabilitation and recovery setting.
- Lead the development of Clinical Pharmacy standards across the Trust for patients within the rehabilitation and recovery setting.
- Be a clinical co-ordinator or tutor for the Keele University Diploma in Clinical Pharmacy.
