Senior Architect Position

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Architect to join our team at Spot, a leading architecture, design, and planning firm based in the UK. As a Senior Architect, you will play a key role in managing multiple projects, ensuring the seamless planning and coordination of key project documentation, and handling project and contract administration.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage multiple projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality outcomes.
- Develop and implement project plans, including project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation.
- Coordinate with internal teams, including design, engineering, and construction teams, to ensure seamless project execution.
- Ensure compliance with relevant construction legislation, including the CDM and Building Safety Act 2022.
- Lead the development of design solutions, integrating various design elements and managing internal reviews to deliver high-quality outcomes.
- Oversee commercial aspects, including contract administration, procurement, and cost management.
- Maintain a robust audit trail for critical decisions and implement the company's Quality Management System.
- Effective team management, identifying training needs, and contributing to business development initiatives.
- Part III Architect / Senior Architect / Associate Architect / Architect / Principal Architect or similar qualification.
- Extensive experience working in the UK, with a strong background in project control and higher-risk buildings.
- In-depth knowledge of the CDM & BC Principal Designer roles, the Building Safety Act 2022, and associated regulations.
- Expertise in The RIBA Plan of Work, RIBA Job Lists, and RIBA Building Control Tracker.
- Proficiency in using NBS Chorus for specifications and AutoDesk Revit.
- Familiarity with quality management systems, such as ISO 9001, and experience with document control systems following ISO 19650 protocols.
- Proven project management skills, with the ability to manage projects efficiently and profitably.
- Excellent communication skills and strong team leadership abilities.
- Registration with the Architects Registration Board and preferably RIBA.
- A proactive approach to business development.
