Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Mental Health Support Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will work full time with 12 hour shifts across days, nights & weekends at Cygnet Hospital Bury.


As a Mental Health Support Specialist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care and support to individuals with mental health needs. This will involve working closely with other healthcare professionals to deliver person-centred care and promoting independence.


The salary for this role is £29,000 - £31,000 per annum, depending on experience.


Key Responsibilities

  • Offer enhanced care with a flexible learning approach for all service users
  • Provide guidance and encouragement through physical and emotional support
  • Learn about individual specific needs and provide help in the most appropriate way
  • Assist with medical and welfare needs
  • Report on medical and welfare needs as required
