Toll Collector and Ambassador

We are looking for a skilled Toll Collector and Ambassador to join our team at the Humber Bridge. In this role, you will collect tolls from customers while providing exceptional customer service and promoting the benefits of automatic and electronic forms of payment.

The main responsibilities of this role include:

1. To collect tolls in the form of credit/debit cards (electronic payment), vouchers/tickets, and issue receipts.
2. To accurately classify vehicles using the toll operating equipment and charge the appropriate toll.
3. To record different types of payment on the toll operating equipment.
4. To promote and educate customers on the benefits of automatic & electronic forms of payment.

This role requires flexibility within working patterns, although there will be a shift pattern to follow.

Shift Patterns:
6am-6pm (Days)
6pm - 6am (Nights)

The successful candidates will receive an estimated salary of £11.59 per hour plus overtime pay. The rate for overtime over 37 hours is £17.39 per hour, and between the hours of 22:00 and 06:00, the rate is £15.07 per hour.
