We are recruiting a Bridge Toll Operator to work with our prominent client based in Hull. This role involves collecting tolls from customers while maintaining a safe and secure environment for staff, customers, and the general public.

About the Job:

The main responsibilities of this role include:

  • To collect tolls in the form of credit/debit cards (electronic payment), vouchers/tickets, and issue receipts.
  • To accurately classify vehicles using the toll operating equipment and charge the appropriate toll.
  • To act as an ambassador for the Humber Bridge at all times and provide outstanding customer service.
Working Hours:

This role requires flexibility within working patterns, although there will be a shift pattern to follow.

Shift Patterns:
6am-6pm (Days)
6pm - 6am (Nights)

Rates of Pay:

The successful candidates will receive an estimated salary of £11.59 per hour plus overtime pay. The rate for overtime over 37 hours is £17.39 per hour, and between the hours of 22:00 and 06:00, the rate is £15.07 per hour.
