Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chief Engineer to join our team at Marriott International. As a key member of our facilities management team, you will be responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of our hotel and spa facilities, ensuring that they are safe, efficient, and meet the highest standards of quality.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and supervise a team of engineers and maintenance staff to ensure that all facilities are properly maintained and repaired in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Develop and implement maintenance schedules and programs to ensure that all facilities are properly maintained and that any issues are addressed promptly.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure that all facilities are properly maintained and that any issues are addressed promptly.
  • Ensure that all facilities are compliant with relevant laws and regulations, including health and safety standards.
  • Develop and implement energy management programs to reduce energy consumption and costs.

Requirements

  • 5-7 years of experience in a facilities management role, preferably in a hotel or hospitality environment.
  • Proven track record of managing and supervising a team of engineers and maintenance staff.
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems, as well as plumbing and HVAC systems.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with other departments and stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on customer service and satisfaction.
