Job Description:

Senior Environmental Health and Safety Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Senior Environmental Health and Safety Specialist to join our client's team at a world-leading manufacturing company. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring a safe and compliant working environment while supporting the health and wellbeing of staff.

  • Develop and implement strategies to drive environmental sustainability and promote a culture of safety.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental regulations.
  • Provide expert advice to improve site performance, support operations, and implement key programs such as Safety Leadership and Environmental Sustainability.
  • Lead integration through audits, investigations of accidents and near-misses, and sponsor preventive actions.
  • Offer technical guidance, support, and training to managers to help them manage performance and ensure staff work safely.


Requirements:
The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of a NEBOSH Diploma, a graduate degree in a relevant field, at least 5 years of manufacturing experience, a solid working knowledge of environmental and ISO audit standards, a strong understanding of SHE legislation and requirements, and prior Project & leadership experience.
