**About the Role:**

Carrington West is seeking a highly skilled Senior Site Specialist to join their team. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to take on a key role in managing engineering activities on-site, ensuring the project meets its design, quality, and timeline objectives.

The successful candidate will liaise with project teams, subcontractors, and stakeholders, providing technical expertise and overseeing the delivery of critical project milestones. Key responsibilities include:

  • Supervising site engineering activities to ensure compliance with project specifications and standards.
  • Coordinating with internal teams and external stakeholders to maintain smooth project workflows.
  • Conducting site inspections and ensuring adherence to quality and safety protocols.
  • Offering technical guidance to junior staff and addressing engineering challenges effectively.
  • Monitoring project progress and implementing solutions to keep works on track.

Requirements:

  • Demonstrable experience as a Site Engineer or Senior Site Engineer on major highways projects is essential.
  • A strong understanding of highways construction processes, materials, and industry standards.
  • A degree or equivalent qualification in Civil Engineering or a related field.
  • Proficiency in engineering software, such as AutoCAD, and project management tools.
  • A valid CSCS card and full UK driving licence.
