IT Support Specialist

We are seeking a skilled IT Technician to join our team at Teaching Personnel. As an IT Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our school's technology infrastructure, supporting both staff and students in their digital needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide day-to-day technical support to staff and students.
- Troubleshoot hardware and software issues across the school's network.
- Maintain and update IT equipment, including computers, printers, and interactive whiteboards.
- Assist in the setup and maintenance of school software and systems.
- Support the integration of new technologies into the school environment.
- Work closely with the IT Manager to ensure system security and data protection.
- Provide basic training and support for staff in the use of technology.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in an IT Technician or support role.
- Strong understanding of computer hardware, software, and networking.
- Knowledge of Windows operating systems, Office 365, and Google Workspace.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- A proactive and flexible approach to working within an educational environment.
Desirable:
- Experience working in a school or educational setting.
- Relevant IT qualifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Microsoft certifications).

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This is a temporary position, and in some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
