**Job Summary**

We are seeking an experienced **Energy Technology Expert** to join our team at Holtec International. As a key member of our Fault Studies Team Lead, you will play a vital role in developing nuclear safety cases for specified disciplines.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent credentials in principles of fault analysis and have strong understanding of thermal hydraulic behavior of nuclear reactors under steady state and transient conditions.

This is an exciting opportunity to work in an emerging technology and energy marketplace, contributing to the commercial deployment of SMR-300 worldwide.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing line management and coordinating the team, responsible for coaching and mentoring to develop the team and individuals in technical skills and personal skills enabling them to deliver.
  • Applicants should be prepared to play an active role in a project-driven and highly integrated engineering team.
  • Must possess excellent credentials in principles of fault analysis.
  • Strong understanding of thermal hydraulic behavior of nuclear reactors under steady state and transient conditions.
  • Experience in developing nuclear safety cases for specified discipline.
  • Strong presentation and communication skills – able to present at multiple organisational levels and to external regulatory stakeholders.
  • Experience performing safety analysis calculations using industry computer codes such as GOTHIC, RELAP5, RETRAN, COBRA, VIPRE, etc.
