Nuclear Safety Case Lead

At Holtec Britain, we are seeking an experienced Nuclear Safety Case Lead to join our team. This is a challenging opportunity to lead the delivery of fault studies, severe accidents, and internal/external hazards safety case documentation for the Generic Design Assessment (GDA) of the SMR-300 reactor.
We offer a competitive salary of £80,000 - £100,000 per annum, depending on experience. As a member of our team, you will have the chance to contribute to the development of next-generation nuclear power technology with a global leader.
About the Role:
- Main Responsibilities:
- Lead the delivery of fault studies, severe accidents, and internal/external hazards safety case documentation.
- Provide line management, coaching, and mentoring to develop technical and personal skills within the team.
- Interact with regulators, explaining analytical methods and models for fault studies and hazard assessments.
Requirements:
- Skills and Experience:
- Proficiency in fault studies, hazard assessments, and thermal hydraulic behaviour of nuclear reactors.
- Experience in developing nuclear safety cases and managing technical teams.
- Strong interpersonal, presentation, and communication skills.
- Eligibility to work under 10 CFR Part 810.
