Job Description

Role Overview

Tanner Pharma Group is seeking a highly skilled Senior Counsel to join our expanding legal and compliance team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for advising on complex legal issues, drafting and negotiating international commercial contracts, and ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Advising on commercial, healthcare compliance, international law, data privacy, and compliance matters
  • Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts, including service, distribution, licensing, data privacy, and public-sector framework agreements
  • Interpreting and advising on EU, UK, Irish, and Swiss laws and regulations
  • Supporting executive leaders and commercial teams in discussions with external parties
  • Providing commercially focused and pragmatic legal advice and services
  • Researching and anticipating legal risks and developing strategies to mitigate them

Requirements

  • Qualified to practice law in the UK with at least 3 years of PQE
  • At least 3 years of experience drafting and negotiating commercial contracts
  • Experience interpreting and applying data privacy laws relevant to international business transactions
  • Established understanding of ethics and compliance laws and corporate program governance
  • Able to work independently and take ownership for advice provided
