Job Title: Building Surveyor Contractor

As a Building Surveyor Contractor, you'll play a crucial role in our success, leading a team and carrying out people management policies, processes, and procedures to a high standard. You'll ensure your team fully supports the business in terms of needs, aspirations, and targets.

You'll be involved in setting, monitoring, and delivering budgets, liaising with subcontractors, site staff, and other departments to ensure seamless communication and collaboration. You'll work closely with the Commercial Manager to provide guidance and support to junior team members, helping them succeed in their roles.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead a team and implement people management policies, processes, and procedures.
  • Set, monitor, and deliver budgets, ensuring timely and within-budget project completion.
  • Liaise with subcontractors, site staff, and other departments to maintain effective communication and collaboration.
  • Work with the Commercial Manager to provide guidance and support to junior team members.
Requirements:
  • Experience in a similar role within housebuilding or a related industry.
  • Strong leadership and people management skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
