The Centre for Climate Engagement at Hughes Hall invites applications for an Interim Director to lead its next phase of development. This exciting opportunity is open to experienced senior leaders who can drive the CCE's mission to bridge the gap between academic research and practical applications.
Role and Responsibilities
The successful candidate will lead the CCE team, develop and implement strategies to accelerate climate action, collaborate with international stakeholders, and strengthen the Centre's position within the University of Cambridge climate ecosystem. Key responsibilities include:
- Providing strategic leadership and operational oversight to the CCE team.
- Developing and implementing strategies to accelerate climate action.
- Collaborating with international stakeholders and the Advisory Group.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A strong background in senior leadership or academia.
- Experience in developing and implementing strategies.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Compensation and Benefits
The estimated salary for this role is £68,863 - £79,800 per annum. Additional benefits include free lunch, contributory pension, medicash health plan, enhanced holiday, flexible working, employee recognition scheme, cycle-to-work scheme, and free parking.
