Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our team in Haddenham, Aylesbury. As a Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing facility by performing routine maintenance tasks, troubleshooting equipment issues, and collaborating with the production team to resolve problems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform regular maintenance tasks to prevent breakdowns and ensure optimal equipment performance
  • Troubleshoot equipment issues and implement repairs or replacement as necessary
  • Collaborate with the production team to identify and resolve problems affecting production efficiency
  • Develop and implement preventative maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and extend equipment lifespan
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

A recognized engineering apprenticeship qualification, Level 3 engineering qualification, or equivalentStrong general electrical and/or mechanical engineering skills and knowledgeExperience working in a high-volume manufacturing environment, preferably in the food or consumer products industryExcellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressureGood communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues and suppliers
