Preconstruction Manager - North London

We are seeking a highly skilled Preconstruction Manager to join our team at Invision Group. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in the successful planning and execution of our projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the preconstruction phase of projects, including planning, budgeting, and scheduling.
  • Manage and coordinate multi-disciplinary teams to ensure alignment with project goals.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients during the preconstruction phase.
  • Conduct client meetings to understand project requirements, address concerns, and provide regular updates.
Tender and Bid Management:
  • Lead the preparation and submission of tenders, bids, and prequalification questionnaires.
  • Collaborate with the estimating and commercial teams to ensure competitive and accurate bids.
  • Analyse tender documents and contracts to identify risks and opportunities.
Technical Oversight:
  • Provide technical input during the design and planning stages to ensure feasibility and compliance with industry standards.
  • Review engineering plans, specifications, and project requirements to provide feedback and recommendations.
  • Ensure that all preconstruction activities comply with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
Project Handover:
  • Facilitate the smooth transition from preconstruction to project delivery teams.
  • Ensure all preconstruction documentation is complete and accurate.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in the construction industry, with a focus on civil engineering projects.
  • Proven experience in managing preconstruction activities, including tendering, bidding, and client engagement.
  • Experience in running projects from conception to completion.
