We are a leader in e-Mobility innovation, revolutionizing the industry with our cutting-edge REE-corners and ultra-modular EV platforms.

We are seeking a talented Brakes Engineer to support our rapid growth and contribute to the development of our braking system components.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and deliver braking system components that meet program-specific targets for functional performance, quality, cost, and timing.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and maintain technical targets, including design, CAE, development, legal, and performance criteria.
  • Maintain and populate brake system component BOMs in PLM and associated releasing activities.
  • Support braking system DFMEA activities.
  • Contribute to mechanical DVP requirements and test rig procedures.
  • Manage DVP&R for owned braking components.
  • Foster technical interfaces with component suppliers, surrounding systems/aggregates owners, and packaging teams.
  • Support vehicle testing and reporting activities.
  • Collaborate with other aggregates to achieve release deadlines.
  • Identify opportunities to reduce complexity, cost, and weight.

Requirements:

  • Degree qualified in Engineering, Science, or related discipline.
  • Experience in complex engineering environments.
  • Proven experience in developing and delivering braking system components from concept to production in an OEM or tier 1 organization.
  • Experience with brake by wire systems, actuation, and controls is an advantage.
  • Good understanding of braking system attributes, service implications, and manufacturing and assembly requirements.
  • Knowledge of rig validation methods and vehicle structural testing is an advantage.
  • Understanding of the influence of braking system design on the overall dynamic behavior of the vehicle.
  • Good all-round engineering knowledge, including material selection, tolerancing, FEA analysis, component manufacturing processes, quality control, etc.
  • Project planning, DFMEA, DFA, DFM experience.
  • Ability to manage workload in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.
  • Working experience with Microsoft Office products, including SharePoint, Excel, and Word.
  • Team player with the ability to work alongside talented colleagues in a driven and dedicated team.
