Role Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Wheel and Brake Proposal Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our Braking Systems Division, you will be responsible for executing the initial design of new wheel and brake equipment, ensuring that the design meets customer, government agency, and internal standards.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Collaborate with stress, thermal, vibration, and reliability analysis engineers to ensure design requirements are met.
  2. Compile design and analysis information into proposal reports and deliver presentations to internal and external stakeholders.
  3. Research existing designs and product data to optimize offerings to customers.
  4. Develop 2D layouts and 3D models using CATIA software.
Requirements
  1. Bachelor's degree in engineering.
  2. Aircraft systems knowledge and experience.
  3. Proven ability to work in a team setting and handle stress in high-demand situations.
  4. Previous exposure to DFM, GD&T, and manufacturing processes.
  5. Project management skills, including cost and schedule estimating.
