Job Description

This is a remote position that requires a strong background in Lean manufacturing and a passion for coaching and mentoring.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality training and coaching to apprentices in Lean manufacturing principles and practices.
  • Assess and monitor apprentice progress towards meeting the apprenticeship program requirements.
  • Support apprentices through the end-point assessment process.
  • Develop and deliver short courses on employer premises as required.

Requirements:

  • Experience in introducing, implementing, and delivering Lean programs.
  • Practical work-based experience of using Lean methodologies and ability to give examples.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and reporting skills.
  • Ability to engage and deliver at all levels, maintain positive relationships with stakeholders, and work on own initiative.
  • IT skills, including E-portfolio and Smart Assessor.
  • Record-keeping and experience within a training environment.

Working Hours and Location:

8-hour shift, Monday to Friday, with weekend availability. Remote work location.

Qualifications and Experience:

Continuous Improvement Qualifications above Level 3, Engineering and Manufacturing qualifications Level 3 and above, Lean Six Sigma Green/Black Belt desirable, Management qualifications desirable, Project Management Qualifications desirable, Maths & English Level 2 and above, Teaching/Accrediting qualification, and Functional skills to Level 2 in Maths and English.
