We are seeking an experienced Theatre Scrub Nurse to join our team at Duchy Hospital, Truro. As a key member of the surgical team, you will be responsible for preparing operating theatres and assisting in surgical procedures.

About the role:

  • Prepare operating theatres for procedures, ensuring a clean and safe environment for patients and staff
  • Assist anaesthetists and surgeons during surgical procedures, using your expertise to ensure optimal patient outcomes
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide exceptional patient care and promote a culture of teamwork and respect

Key skills and qualifications:

  • NMC registration with no restrictions or conditions
  • Surgical scrub experience and/or Endoscopy experience/qualification
  • Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment as well as independently
  • Flexible and positive attitude
  • A warm, considerate and empathetic character
