Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering small to medium capital projects to drive improvements in safety, quality, plant capacity and operational efficiency.

  • You will support all phases of the project including feasibility, engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning and handover in conjunction with timeline and budget.
  • Projects will be predominantly chemical process-oriented on a high-hazard plant but may also include infrastructure and utility upgrades.
  • You will work cross-functionally with production engineers, maintenance and other plant functions when needed, for both capital and non-capital improvements.

Requirements

A successful candidate should have:

  • Degree in a chemical or mechanical engineering discipline or a similar relevant qualification.
  • Demonstrable success in managing capital projects in a manufacturing, process or production environment.
  • Excellent technical and engineering skills, communication skills and ability to lead group meetings and supervise/manage project teams of all fields including contractors.

Benefits Package

We offer a competitive salary of £60,300 per annum, up to 18% overall pension, performance-related bonus scheme, sick pay (full pay for first 6 months from day 1), 27 days holiday + bank holidays.
