Job Overview
The University of Oxford is seeking a highly skilled Process Improvement Specialist to join its Faculty of Law. As a key member of the team, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the Faculty's Professional Services Staff (PSS) operations and processes.
About the Role
This is a challenging opportunity for a motivated and experienced professional to lead change initiatives and implement process improvements that drive efficiency and effectiveness within the Faculty. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, leading, and managing change projects to streamline operations, improve processes, and enhance services.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead cross-functional teams to identify areas for improvement and develop strategies to enhance operational efficiency
- Implement Continuous Improvement methodologies to drive process excellence and standardization
- Collaborate with stakeholders to develop and deliver training programs to support skills development and capacity building
- Monitor progress and evaluate the impact of change initiatives on business outcomes
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- Practical experience in applying Continuous Improvement techniques in change projects in complex organizations
- Strong organizational, planning, and project management skills, including prioritization and deadline management
- Experience in managing and implementing change into significant business activities or processes
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present information clearly and confidently to diverse audiences
