About Us: Knightwood Associates is a medium-sized, privately owned housing developer with a strong presence in the construction industry.

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Site Manager to join our team and take on the responsibility of managing our construction site in South East London. The site consists of 330 units, 4 blocks of apartments up to 12 storey along with some traditional build housing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Project Manager in managing the day-to-day running of the site
  • Manage and implement health & safety procedures to ensure a safe working environment for all personnel
  • Assist in the delivery of all aspects of production in accordance with technical and planning documentation
  • Ensure that all work is carried out in accordance with building regulations
  • Maintain accurate site records and ensure that all necessary documentation is up-to-date
  • Conduct thorough inspections to identify and rectify any defects or issues before key stage inspections

Requirements:

  • Degree or equivalent in a relevant field
  • Proven experience working for an established housebuilder on high-volume apartment schemes
  • Experience working with the NHBC and a good understanding of key stage inspections
