Production Planner Job Description

Are you an experienced Production Planner / Production Scheduler / Project Planner looking for a challenging position within a leading manufacturer of large-scale process machinery? Do you have solid planning experience working on ERP / MRP / SAP systems and a background in engineering or manufacturing? If so, we are seeking a Production Planner on a permanent basis for a company that supplies globally, specializing in bespoke process machinery for various sectors.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Work closely with the Production Manager and projects team to take full responsibility for production/project planning activities, creating project/production schedules and plans.
  • Plan and coordinate production activities, evaluating schedule impacts arising from sourcing and resource decisions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth project execution and timely delivery.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 2-3 years' experience as a Production Planner / Production Scheduler / Project Planner.
  • Engineering or manufacturing background, with experience working on ERP / MRP / SAP systems.
  • Strong planning and organizational skills, with ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects.
